Oh I think pcps is quite sad lor, they had lessons as usual until the teacher's day celebration during assembly, then after assembly the lessons continued -_- Sylvia and Lynn went up to the stage after all the performances to give an impromptu speech 'on behalf of the p6 '05 cohort' cos the rest of us didn't want to go up. Haha and we were all cheering at the back while the p1s, 4s and 5s were staring at us and giving us wth?! looks. Aiyah being in girls' schools has influenced us to screaming at every single thing. Like when Mrs Chen, Mrs Lim and Xie Lao Shi's names came up in some teacher's powerpoint thing. Oh yes there was a teacher's day celebration commitee lah. And who were in the commitee? Teachers. Hm I feel like listing out all our schools. Haven't actually taken note of how many people went to a whatever school in our class. It sucks when the only other person from your primary school in your secondary school has never ever spoken to you at all in pri school. Oh well. Just read Zongmin's blog. Omg she is so... powerful. She's in rgs, GEP, class chairman, student leader, wants a minimum 3.8 gpa and a distinction in diploma for piano (i think thats what she wrote), and just received some Prime Minister's Book Prize thing and the interview she gave or osmething on the radio got aired. And the thing is, she's sec one. I wonder how someone can achieve so much in just one year lah. Or ok, maybe someone from our school. Stephanie, prefect of 2007, got a prize on honours day, fittest girl in the whole of sec one, did the most number of inclined pull-ups in the whole school, topped the class for CA1 and got 2nd in class for CA2 I think. Profi tomorrow! We suddenly got very worried today because of something Esther told us. erp hope I won't fail. Nat called me just now to pass me the relay message for tomorrow and made me repeat every sngle thing back to her so I won't forget. Haha she comes to school in funny hairstyles everyday and go "OMG I SAW MA'AM!!!!!!" everytime she sees me. Oh we did lifescience today. The gloves are so smelly, they remind me of my orthdontist's gloves. Michelle kept insisting that they smell like chocolates la wth. Then we were all trying to go as high as we can on teh chairs and I couldn't get down after I went all the way up, so Michelle had to sit on my chair and push it down. Haha too light, you see. I realise I haven't been posting much on daily events, just random things that come to my mind. Hm posting about daily events make me feel happier :D Eh I wanted to try the EyeRelax thing lah, and I thought we were going to go during PE or something, but they only came on tuesday I think, and we didn't have PE on that day, so tomorrow will probably be the aces (sp?) day rehearsal again. Oh there was a salad party or something yesterday during rap break, and lots of people thought there wasn't rap, so only half the class was in the room for HiP. Then Mrs Wang asked Bala and Huiying to go to the canteen and scream for all the humanities HiP people to come back. :D Imagine Huiying running around screaming at people haha. --- Crazy? Bought Iris' birthday present and then dropped it on the floor cos I didn't notice that it was at the edge of the table, so the whole thing shattered. Had zi du and ting xie during hcl today, and I learnt the wrong chapter for ting xie. Was late for piano cos I had to photocopy the long commands notes in school using bala's notes. Left my boots in school so I have to go and take them from Sj at the bus stop later. And to top it all, we have our total defence test in less than one month and we've to study 29 pages of notes. Then there's my piano exam which is in 3 weeks and I really want to get at least a merit argh. Days like this always make me feel like just sitting down and cry. Wednesday, August 16, 2006

Oh haha it's health week. I went for body by rick with Bala, Huiying and Lingli, and there was only 1 gym ball so only one person can demonstrate one activity, and the instructor asked the sec threes to do it (Lingli said that they are all sports leaders) cos they're stronger. Haha and what did the rest of us do? Standing-squatting, standing on a rope and try to pull the two ends of the rope up until our chins (no its not a rope, i forgot what it is), pushups, a "highway" thing which is basically just holding in pushup position but the section from your hand to your elbow must be on the ground and you can't stick your butt up too high cos "the cars will drop down if the slope on your highway is too steep", and lying on our backs and raising our legs 90 degrees and go back front back front. erp. Then last saturday I went to cut my hair with my sister cos my hair was touching my shoulders and I don't want to tie it up because uh I cut my hair in december because I didn't want to tie it anymore. Man I hate cutting my hair, I look like a boy now wth. And the next morning when I woke up.. (Sunday Times)  Whatever lor!Did two hours of cip in the library today :D I was supposed to get 11 hrs of cip from the straits times pocket sch money fund, but the letter I got stated that I only did 8 hrs. Huo then everyone around me got 40, 50 plus hours cos half my class is in either drama or dance and they had concerts argh. Happy birthday Iris! You'll be 13 in 1 hr 8 min :)  Heehee.  Two dogs on both sides of the road started barking at me and tried to stick their heads through the fences. ok I know the dogs kind of look like rats. And the box in front of one of the dogs says 'house', not 'mouse'. My piano exam's on 5 sept! 2.27 pm -_- What kind of time is that lah. Chongying's taking hers on 8 sept, I'm always taking my exam earlier than her [insert pout]. Went to my cousin's house on national day and had this 'welcome home' party for my other cousin cos he has just returned to singapore after graduating from oxford wth. That's the same cousin who told my sister that rj people aren't nerds when she asked him, and then told her that he was from rj's chess and computer club or something. (no offense to anyone who's in chess or computer club though) And we spent most of the time watching spongebob embarrass himself on nickelodeon. There's school tomorrow after two days of holiday and one day of slackness oh nooooo. I don't see what's the point of having only one school day for the entire week since its the weekends after friday. Plus I'm i/c tomorrow :O Oh next year's annual camp is going to be one week before christmas this year! AHHHH then when Ma'am told us about it nat and I were quite zzz cos both our birthdays fall on the week before christmas. Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main dish Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cn SPAM Luncheon Meat, cubed -(12 oz) 2 c Shredded cabbage 1 c Shredded zucchini 1 Onion, shredded 1 Carrot, shredded 2 Garlic cloves, minced 1 1/2 tb Chopped fresh basil leaves 1 t Dried oregano 1/2 t Red pepper flakes 1 cn Diced tomatoes (28 oz) 1 1/2 c Instant rice 1 tb Brown sugar 8 Bell peppers, cored & seeded In skillet over medium-high heat, saute SPAM until lightly browned; remove from skillet. Add cabbage, zucchini, onion, carrot, garlic, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes to skillet. cook over low heat 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Drain juice from tomatoes; reserve juice. Add enough water to tomato juice to make 2 cups. Add juice, tomatoes, SPAM, rice, and brown sugar to vegetable mixture. Cover. Cook 10 minutes.
