I learnt how to ride a bike last sunday! Haha with my sisters who are like 17 and 22 so I didn't look that sad. My parents spent 3 hrs teaching us and they were good teachers because they didn't like hold onto our bikes all the way but just sat there reading newspapers, and came to help us every 5 min or something. :D Anyway I woke up the next day with muscle aches everywhere including my butt. Then we had the maths carnival briefing on monday. Oh man I hate maths. Ack and we had a maths test during the first period somemore. Oh assembly was quite funny because this guy who had ridiculous masks conducted it and made the whole auditorium like him when he mentioned that SJI guys are nerds.
Then on tuesday we had to clean the home econs kitchen for open house. Urgh and then Mrs Ho and Mrs Fern brought us to the com lab to do some survey about all the teachers who teach my class. One survey for each teacher ok! The survey still got section A and B one lah. Free response questions -_- Wednesday we had the Investigative Maths course which was quite fun actually. My group was the first overall so we got another bar of chocolate after finishing one during one of the activities involving chocolate. :D Then lessons resumed after the course. Plah. Robotics course on thursday was umm. What you'd expect a robotics course to be. Oh then we were using the computer and Stephanie was complaining to Chloe that her computer was taking a long time to load. Then we found out she didn't even click on the 'Go' button.
Minus the 101 powerpoint slides about the different parts of robots, it was quite ok lah. We had an 8 hr leadership course on friday. Hmm. I like my group's trainer! When the course was about to end, she was trying to guess everyone's cca and boasting that she could get it right at the second or third guess. And she thought I was in a sports cca. Haha oh well.
Open house yesterday was kind of fun I guess. Spent the first 3 hrs doing duty at the ncc station. Haha and me and Lauren made up a script about stuff we were supposed to introduce to the people who came to our station. Oh and we went around asking people if they were "interested to visit the ncc station" because we had nothing to do, and it was hard because ncc was the middle station in the bus bay so it was like this:

You get what I mean. But we still managed to drag some people (FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING. they weren't that reluctant ok) to the ncc station anyway. Then when our shift ended, we went to walk around the school with Bala and Esther. I bought 3 bowls of sobah! :D However you spell it. It was really nice lah. So basically we just walked around the school looking for food and drinks for 3 hours. Oh we watched part of the band's performance and the drama performance in the auditorium also. And the debate presentation. Then we were supposed to throw them a topic and let them debate about it on the spot, and this girl asked them if we should hand in our homework on time -_- Haha but the debate was good.
Then that night after tuition, Jovina walked past this guy who was sitting at the front of the classroom and was like "Huh your name is Elliot Yeo?" cos I think she saw his file or something. Haha and then we found out he was Iris' church friend because I went to her church last year and she umm, told me who Elliot was because there were
rumours, you see. Yeah then she told me quite alot about him so when Jovina said that his name was Elliot, I went to call Iris and I think she sounded quite excited. :D Ok she didn't. She just went "Oh." and started going on and on about us (me and Jovina) not saying any
untrue stuff
to him or she'll hate us or something. Haha no lah we're nice people.
SINGAPORE IDOL AT 8PM TONIGHT! Haha I watched the commercial about this guy singing 'Nong Nong ago.. nong nong ago" during the auditions. R!
Today during lunch we were eating at the vegetarian coffee shop, and when we were eating the
vegetarian fish:
mum: "This fish tastes fishy (as in like when fish is not fresh it tastes seafoody-fishy, not as in suspicious-fishy)."
dad: "It's probably yesterday's fish.. fishermen don't work on sundays."
sister1: "Yeah. Or maybe it's high tide now so it's harder for them to catch fish, so they had to use yesterday's leftover fish."sister2: "Be careful and look out for the fish bones also ok." *-_-
See, crapness runs in the family. Even my grandfather is corny.
*If you don't understand the conversation, we were eating vegetarian fish so it was made of flour.
